Arrival and Dismissal
General Procedures
At Eagle Mountain Elementary, we have set up specific Arrival and Dismissal Procedures to keep all students safe. Every student’s safety is important to the Eagle Family. It remains our highest priority that all students enter and exit cars in a safe organized way. Please follow the drop off and pick up procedures attached to this letter.
All families will be assigned a Transportation Tag with a specific color and number for car rider dismissal. There will not be any walk-up dismissal. All students will be loaded through the pickup lane at your child’s designated area. Each family will receive 2 transportation tags per family at Meet the Teacher Night. Families unable to attend Meet the Teacher will receive transportation tags on the first day of school.
General Procedures:
- Students may be dropped off at 7:05 am, supervision is not provided before this time.
- Please use the cross walk when walking your child into the building during drop off.
- Please follow all directions from school personnel.
- Please drive slowly and watch for children.
- Cell phone use is not permitted in school zones during arrival and dismissal times.
- Use the right drop off lane if you are dropping off after 7:30 am and school personnel is no longer at the crosswalk. This will help ensure student safety while walking into the building.
Please see the two sections labeled Arrival and Dismissal with maps. Review each section for our arrival and dismissal procedures.
We are so excited to welcome our Eagles back to school for the 2025-2026 school year! Thank you for following the procedures for Arrival and Dismissal, the safety of students is our top priority.
Arrival & Dismissal Maps
Arrival: Please enter the parking lot following the red arrows to drop off. This will help with congestion and prevent Morris Dido Newark Road from being backed up.
Dismissal: Please enter the parking lot following red arrows. Once the right lane is full, all cars will enter on the left side and follow the yellow arrows. School personnel will direct the traffic into the main lanes to enter the pickup lanes.

Please follow the red arrows for entering for pick up and drop off and the yellow arrows for exiting. This will help with the congestion and allow for the neighbors surrounding our school access to their homes and/or emergency vehicle access.
